“Right Back To The Beginning” I’m really happy with this piece. My first real painting completed of 2019.
24"x36" canvas. 
This painting is special to me because it harkens back to one of my early favorites. It was also a cityscape with wet streets and a figure looking on at the big city in front of them. I used a very similar color palette. I love conveying the colorful brightness of the big city. The city can be amazingly vibrant especially at night. Again, I like the challenge of incorporating lots of colors without making the painting feel too rainbow-like. As in many of my cityscape paintings, if I use figures, they are usually silhouetted.
